We hurried from Cinque Terre to Pisa and ran to the leaning tower with just enough sunlight to get some good pictures. The train we wanted didn't leave until 2a.m. so we didn't worry about hurrying so we walked around the town, grabbed some pizza and gelato from a street vendor and eventually made our way to the train station. It was a smaller station that we were usually in with homeless people and travelers sleeping in the corners so we went to get our tickets wanting to get out of there as soon as we could but the tickets were a lot more expensive than we had planned. It was making us buy a bed on the train so we decided that we would sleep at the train station again and catch the earliest train to Rome in the morning. We were excited to get to Rome and out of that train station.
