EUROPE
April 15-28
I can't believe the time has already come and passed for our Europe trip. We have been planning this trip for months and it didn't seem like it would ever really come. I tried to plan and prepare as much as possible but since we were flying on buddy passes we couldn't make any set plans. Soon enough tax season officially ended! We had our bags packed and we headed to the airport. Luckily we made the flight (we missed first class by one seat!). 9 hours later we landed in Paris at 11am with no set plans.

Our bags are packed, we're ready to go....

Almost There!

PARIS
Tuesday 15:
We found a small apartment room to rent for the night through airbnb and after finding the area we couldn't find the exact address so after wandering for a few hours we decided to just go to into the main part of Paris to see everything we could with what little time we had. We carried our bags all around Paris but we were able to see so many things! It was so exciting to be there together! After we got the real address we headed back around midnight to find the apartment. We had flown 9 hrs and walked 14 miles with our bags only to get there and not have the code to the gate. Luckily two cute little french girls were riding their bikes (who knows why since it was so late). Through gestures we were finally able to get in. Our host calls himself El Tigre and boy did he live up to his name!

Yes...this is where we stayed. El Tigre!
We see the Eiffel Tower!
 The Louvre!
 Venus De Milo
 Looking Good Dan
Mona Lisa...Dan took this picture, it looks fake
 Our Feet Hurt!
 We Made It!
We sat on the lawn, ate a panini and watched the tower light up

Wednesday 16:
We didn't want to waste anytime so we hurried and got ready, ate bread and nutella for breakfast (not the last time either) and headed out to see Paris again. We only had a few hours since we needed to catch another train to Switzerland but we did as much as we possibly could! Seeing Paris was a bonus for us but we hope to be able to return and explore even more!
Yummy Breakfast :)
This baby is having some great adventures...o ya, we are having a baby!
Can't be at the Eiffel Tower without eating some delicious crepes! SO good!
 Arc De Triomphe
When we went to buy our tickets to Switzerland they were all sold out for Interlaken so we decided to go to Geneva, we had no idea what was in Geneva and we were a little sad since we had really wanted to see Interlaken. As luck would have it we met a cute little couple in Geneva that had tickets to Interlaken they weren't using and the train left 40 minutes later. We were so happy it turned out that way since Geneva didn't seem as great since it was a big city. After we stepped of the train in Interlaken at midnight we had no idea where we were going to stay but once again we were lucky enough to find a youth hostel near by that was open and available, though our bunk mate shook the hostel with his snoring!

Yay for free tickets!
Our dinner...yummy baguette cheese and muffin
The Train Ride from France to Switzerland was amazing!
