CINQUE TERRE

After taking another train from Florence to Cinque Terre on the Coast we arrived at the best of the 5 towns, Montorosso. We found a cute Italian lady that was willing to rent out a room in her apartment to us for the night. It even had a little kitchen so we spent the day at the beach, it's off season so they didn't have their kayaks available, which we were a little bummed about, but it was so nice to lay on the beach, look at the beautiful clear blue water and totally relax. We had walked and seen so much so we made sure to stop and breath in the fresh air. Later that night we explored the city cemetery and churches and we even made our own Italian meal of pasta. When it got dark we walked along the beach eating one of many gelatos.

It was a perfect day
Dan finally had a comfy place to sleep...
 The view was beautiful!
Cemetery at the top of the city
 High Five!
Nothing like cooking your own Italian dinner in Italy
The city was just as pretty at night

We had planned it so that we wouldn't have to catch our next train until 6pm that night so we decided to hike between the 5 cities. We had our packs and it was hot so we were dripping in sweat and doing a pretty good hike, some of the trains were closed so we had to take the train but we were able to see 4 out of the 5 cities. I was so glad we were able to fit Cinque Terre into our plans!

Hot and sweaty but worth every step
 Taking in the fresh air
One of the 5 cities that make up Cinque Terre
 Gelato!!!!
The last city before we headed to Pisa
