After getting some sleep and letting our stuff dry we hurried out of Milan as fast as we could to get to Venice. We stepped off the train that day and we got really excited! Venice holds a certain feel to it, you just can't help getting excited! There was one thing we did forget.....Easter weekend. We had hoped to find a cheap hostel again but everything was so packed due to the holiday we were lucky enough to find a hotel though far more expensive than we had hoped (we are cheap haha) it was nice to have a place to stay. The next two days we were able to explore all of Venice. We found a small pizza shop in an ally way that was the best pizza ever! We ate there as much as possible. In fact, we ate so much pizza and Gelato there I am now having withdrawals!
Everything was so pretty and unique

Love Lock Bridges are popping up everywhere, this one is on the Academia Bridge
We decided that it would be worth sleeping at the train station and taking at 3am train to Florence so that we would be able to have as much time as possible! Luckily we checked our tickets around midnight because we had misunderstood that we needed to take a bus to another train station and we were able to catch one of the final buses of the night, otherwise we would have missed our train. It was cold but we were able to sleep a little bit, once we were on the train we were able to get some sleep before arriving in Florence.
Our bed for the first part of the night
Trying to get a little more shut eye on the train
